Lagos has its own Bali Swing and it’s just as gorgeous! The #baliswing has become one of Bali’s major attractions. It’s kinda like the Eiffel Tower in Paris; you really haven’t seen Paris if you skip the Eiffel Tower. Same as the Bali Swing, you really haven’t been to Bali if you did not get on that swing (okay maybe this is a bit of an overreach comparing the Eiffel Tower to the Bali Swing ?). However it’s ranked the number 2 attraction in Ubud,under fun and games, on TripAdvisor.

What is the Bali Swing you ask? It’s exactly what it is, a Swing! But more importantly you get to enjoy nature and the beautiful scenery of the real Bali. You also get to take awesome photos too but this is not important, this is just a plus wink.

Undoubtedly, the Lagos version of the #baliswing is the Backyard Swing. Clearly not because of the way it looks, there is absolutely no comparison between the Bali Swing and the Backyard Swing. The backyard swing is located in a restaurant, the backyard, in heart of Victoria island. So lower your #baliswing expectations for a second! No nature or spectacular scenery there but we’ll take what we have.

We visited the backyard a few days ago, right after Christmas, and we understood why the swing is everyone’s favorite. It’s becoming increasingly popular (hence the “comparison”) and it makes the perfect prop for photos! It’s an addictive space and you’ll find yourself striking the weirdest poses just to get the perfect photo. We’ve curated a few photos online from the backyard swing and here are our favorites:

There was another contender for Lagos’ #Baliswing but it just didn’t pop as much as. Also the Swing gives some sort of playground vibes. #southswing perhaps?
