You do not only discover something new when you travel, you also experience and learn greater things. To have an awesome travel experience depends on the type of travel partner you go with or you meet on your trip. Whether you are traveling solo or as a group, you will definitely have/run into one or two travel companions and these people will determine how the rest of your trip will be. The worst is to have an annoying partner. For whatever reason that attracted this annoying traveler to you, you already know you are stuck with him/her for the rest of your trip.
Choose the type of traveler you want on your trip wisely so you can have a great experience. See some of the annoying travelers you may not want to consider as your travel buddy.
THE ONES THAT OVERPACK
This type of traveler always pack their whole closet when going for a short trip. It doesn’t make it easier for them to wheel their luggage and at the end of the the day, you with the light luggage will have to help him/her with their excesses. Also, you will have to wait for a longer time for them to claim their luggage. This is one of the ways you start wasting time on your itinerary.
THE BORING TRAVELER
This type of travelers are the worst to travel with. They are never interested in trying new things. They just avoid every thing they seem not to be familiar with. These people are just there to kill your vibe.
ALWAYS MISSING TRAVELER
There’s this traveler that’s always missing out of the group. This minute, you’re together and the next, they are nowhere to be found. They just go without letting the other traveler know their whereabouts and you don’t have a choice but to wait for them to locate you again. They tend to delay and waste your time.
THE ONES THAT SNOB EVERYTHING
“I don’t want this, I cannot do this” type of travellers are not easy to please. They hardly like anything on the itinerary. The best thing they can do is to complain and be dramatic about everything. “I don’t like my seat mate on the flight, the hotel is not beautiful enough, they serve pepperless foods at this restaurant, etc” and you just soundly be able to deal with them.
THE TALKATIVE TRAVELER
Urrrgg!!! Who else gets bored with their non-stop chatting? Of course some people really want to talk to their travel partner when they travel but they do not want to understand that the partner needs some down time. The talkative traveler will not care to know if you’re busy or not interested in the chat, they just keep talking, talking and talking till you have to tell them to stop. To avoid too much of unnecessary talk from them, best thing is to plug your earphones or doze off (if you’re on the plane or in your room) lol!
SHOPAHOLIC TRAVELER
This type of traveler didn’t come for the adventurous trip, trust me! They are there to shop. Shopping is their priority. Shopaholic travelers waste too much time shopping and they end up not visiting/seeing many places. Although they may not feel too happy about not seeing many attractions, especially if there isn’t much time, but they are super glad they have shopped for enough things. To avoid wasting time with these people, give a free time for them to do their shopping.
THE LATECOMER
When you do things on your own, you may choose to be late, that’s acceptable to you. Some travelers, when traveling with a group, they just decide to be the ones to delay every other persons. This type of traveler will definitely almost, if not ruin your plan for the day.
THE “LET ME CAPTURE EVERY MOMENT” TRAVELER
To be honest, I wouldn’t call a photographer an annoying traveler, but hey! they can be annoying. They spend a lot of time taking photos, capturing the same moments, places, persons from different angles. This could end up wasting time and ruining the itinerary.
