Breaking News: Somalian Based Militant Group Claims Responsibility for Attack in Nairobi Kenya.

Scores of people have been reportedly hurt in the explosion at a large complex along Riverside in Nairobi. Citizens who witnessed the scene has called the explosion a terror attack. The complex includes a DusitD2 hotel, a large 5 star hotel, banks and some international offices.

The attack was started by a Somalian based terror group called Al-Shabab. The group has come out to claim responsibility for the disastrous attack on the building.

“We are behind the attack in Nairobi. The operation is going on. We shall give details later,”- Abdiasis Abu Musab, al Shabaab’s military operations spokesman.

According to the spokesman of Police, Charles Owino, who spoke with a reported,

“All police teams have been dispatched to the scene where the incident is. As at now we are treating it as anything, including the highest attack. All police teams including anti-terror officers are at the scene.”

Five years ago, the same group was behind an attack that claimed the lives of over 60 people at Westgate Mall, a luxury shopping center in Nairobi.
