On Thursday, 28th of June, one of the leading air carriers in Nigeria, Air Peace signed an agreement with Benue State Government on flight operations to Makurdi, the state capital.

The Chief Operating Officer of Air Peace, Mrs Oluwatoyin Olajide while speaking at the agreement sealing ceremony promised that the airline will provide better flying experience to Benue state residents and other air passengers traveling on the route. In her statement, she confirmed that the route will cover Lagos-Makurdi-Lagos and Abuja-Makurdi-Abuja.
The Governor of Benue state Chief Samuel Ortom who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Hon. Terwase Obunde has promised to support the airline in making the Lagos and Abuja routes to Makurdi a success.
