First trip of the year and we are so pumped! Our Head Nomad visited Namibia in November and she came back with goodies in form of amazing partnerships with destination managers, guides and hoteliers in the country. So when we say this is one of the best deals on Namibia you’ll ever get, believe us! We’ve heard people recommend Namibia for first time visitors to Africa, understandably so. Some parts of the country can easily pass for European cities, the German influence bursts out of its seams. It cannot be ignored.
Namibia works for you if you love nature; landscapes in particular. With a population of 2.6 million and size (land surface area) almost as big as Nigeria, it’s not unusual to drive hours without seeing another human! Namibia = land of endless horizons!
Due to its vastness, 10 nights is the recommended minimum for a trip to Namibia, however we have only 5 nights which must be utilized to the max! If you are moved to extend your stay, please by all means do! Just let us know your preferred arrival dates. The Nomads will explore 3 cities on this trip, the capital city; Windhoek as well as coastal cities; Walvis Bay and Swakopmund.
Check out a few activities you’ll get up to during this trip. Activities/Itineraries are not set in stone so feel free to be a party pooper and opt out, haha!
QUAD BIKING/SAND BOARDING IN THE NAMIB DESERT: 3 hours of riding dorttyyyyy (dirty, please don’t miss out on this experience. We’ll bike on, under and above the most beautiful dunes in the Namib Desert. Be well equipped with every sun screen/sun block product known to man cos you’ll need it.
SKYDIVING (OVERLOOKING WHERE THE DESERT MEETS THE SEA): Not covered in the cost but we recommend; if you are up for an adventure. From your vantage point and weather being in your favor, you’ll see the point where the desert meets the sea! An incredible sight.
WALKING TOUR OF SWAKOPMUND: SWAKOPMUNDAAAAAAA! This quaint-pastely coastal city has a casino, museum, craft market, an aquarium, a brewery and so on!
CITY TOUR OF WINDHOEK: Windeck ah Windeck! Yes, we’ve also pronounced this capital city Windeck all our lives. But guess what? it’s actually pronounced “Vintuck” or “Wintuck” depending on how German your accent is. We’ll check out the oldest church in Namibia, Christuskirche with an extremely yummy structure. Yummy because it looks like a gingerbread house!
TRYING OUT MOPANI WORMS AND OTHER NAMIBIAN DELICACIES: Worms??? Yuck! Okay okay, you can skip the worms but trust us, you are truly missing out on life.
BOAT CRUISE IN WALVIS BAY/SEEING THE SEAL COLONY: Ever seen a colony of seals before? No? We thought so!
CATCHING THE SUNSET AT THE MOON LANDSCAPE: this experience will be topped with champagne and canapés. Not to be missed.

We totally discourage bad energy during our Nomad experiences. If you know or you’ve been told you exude negative vibes, take a cue from Wizkid and please stay far away! If you are unadventurous, not interested in immersing yourself in culture or new cuisine, always moody, not a people person, only interested in sleeping throughout a trip, always late for everything, these are all signs of bad energy/negative vibes. Nomad experiences are a good vibes only zone and we’ll love to keep it that way.
Our trips are usually fun packed and adventurous, down to where we stay. We seldom stay in fancy hotels as it is not our thing. Expect to be lodged in Airbnb type accommodations. A fancy hotel will probably not permit our off key singing, dancing like no one is watching and playing Nigerian music at its loudest and we wouldn’t want anything to stifle us!
Our prices will cover breakfast throughout the trip and one fancy dinner on our last night at the destination. All other feeding expenses will be borne personally.
Our price covers tours and logistics as stated in our itinerary. Nomads that have confirmed and paid for any of the trips will receive a full itinerary and fact sheet in our NOMAD INFORMATION GUIDE. Cost of tours outside the stated itinerary will be also be borne personally.
