At the beginning on the year, we unveiled the nomad movement; Green Passport Movement. We selected five beautiful destinations to explore and we are glad we have conquered 2 and on the verge of conquering the third.
Morocco was the first destination we explored in April. How can we forget the memorable experiences at Marrakech, Essaouria and the night spent with the Berbers in the Sahara desert? Or how can we forget the Moroccan cuisine we tried? OMG! It was truly a blast and a half!
The trip had 20 amazingly wonderful women from different background who brought their uniqueness on the trip. With them, there was no dull moment. Memories were made and new friends who turned family was formed.
Summer in the Middle East is one of the trips we’ll not forget in a long time. Our trip to Lebanon in June was memorable. Although we were almost discouraged by bad comments from the media, friends and family but it did not stop us from seeing the beauty of the country (Not all negative news about a place are actually true. It is better you experience things yourself). Our experience in Lebanon was so different from how people had portrayed the country to be. We never regretted making Lebanon one of our destinations. From exploring different cities to the beach experience to fun at night clubs to trying out different cuisines to exploring the home to cedar trees to vising the ruins of Romans, everything was all fun. We loved Beirut and we’ll definitely say YES to another adventure to the country.
Rwanda is our third destination and we can’t wait to have a remarkable experience in the land of a thousand hills again. Our love for Rwanda is way out of this world and we don’t mind including the destination every year. Although we were there last year but we can’t help but visit again this year. It is too beautiful not to visit. It is our second home and that’s the reason why we won’t stop visiting.
On every of our trip, we do learn one or two lessons which help us work better on our next trip and this has really been helping us. Read some of the lessons we learnt from our trips to Rwanda (last year), Morocco and Lebanon.
