Rwanda Is Set to Open Fourth National Park for Tourism in 2019

The higher the number of tourist sites in a nation, the higher the number of tourists that visit.

In a bid to attract more tourists to enjoy remarkable tourism activities in the country, the government of Rwanda has planned to open a new national park, Gishwati Mukura National Park. The new park will bring the number of national parks in Rwanda to 4.

Located in the Nortwestern region of Rwanda, Gishwati Mukura National Park will be opened for tourists use next year. This aims to increase the revenue generated from tourism in the country.

Gishwati Mukura National Park bestrides the Congo Nile Divide. The park is home to over 60 species of trees and different species of monkeys; chimpanzees, golden monkeys, blue monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, L’Hoests monkeys.

Rwanda is really putting much efforts in making the small but mighty country the number one destination in Africa. From tourism sector, Rwanda hopes to target at least $800 million by the end of 2024.

Rwanda is fast becoming one of the most sought after destinations in Africa. Very soon, the remarkable country will be very expensive to visit. The best time to visit and explore the beauty of Rwanda is now!
