Norma Howard has broken the world record as she becomes the oldest woman to do the wing walk. Norma, who was a pilot and also a retired physiotherapist beat the record set by 88 year old Betty Bromage last year. The 91 year old woman got strapped to the wings of a vintage biplane and took off at 500 feet.
The old woman was strapped to the plane while it was on flight just above an airfield in Gloucestershire, U.K. with a safety harness and stayed upright through a series of climbs, dives and banks and wing walks.
While speaking to ITV news after she landed safely, Howard said she was energized.
